We are happy that you have decided to give the Presenter for Confluence a try. This article will give you a step-by-step guide to present your Confluence articles with our built-in themes.

Our built-in themes are a good starting point, but the real fun starts once you start creating your own custom themes. You can find a guide about the Theme editor here.


Presenter for Confluence can be installed in the Confluence CloudServer and Confluence Data Center.

Cloud Installation

  1. Log into your Confluence instance as an admin.

  2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons.
    The Find new apps or Find new add-ons screen loads.

  3. Locate Presenter for Confluence.

  4. Click Free trial to download and install your app.

  5. You're all set!
    Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.

  6. Happy presenting!

Server and Confluence Data Center Installation

  1. Log into your Confluence instance as an admin.

  2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Atlassian Marketplace.
    The Manage add-ons screen loads.

  3. Click Find new apps or Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.

  4. Locate Presenter for Confluence via search.
    The appropriate app version appears in the search results.

  5. Click Try free to begin a new trial or Buy now to purchase a license for Presenter for Confluence.
    You're prompted to log into MyAtlassian. Presenter for Confluence begins to download.

  6. Enter your information and click Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian.

  7. Click Apply license.
    If you're using an older version of UPM, you can copy and paste the license into your Confluence instance.

  8. Happy presenting!

Present an Article

From now, you can present any Confluence page you have access to.

Just click the three dots menu at the top right and choose “Present”.

In the Present menu you can choose one of our built-in themes and click Start presentation.

The presentation will be opened in a new tab.
