3.20.1-srv - Compatibility for Confluence DC 9.0.0

This DC-only release brings compatibility for Confluence Data Center version 9, a bugfix for a nasty bug in Confluence 🐛 and some minor security updates for used frontend libraries.

Compatibility from Confluence 6.0.1 to 9.0.0

The new Confluence version comes with a lot of breaking changes for Marketplace Apps as the new Platform 7 is introduced. This made some adjustments under the hood necessary.

This release is compatible and tested with Confluence 6.0.1 up to 9.0.0. We’ve smoothed out some rough edges along the way, including rendering of German Umlauts in old Confluence versions.

Security Updates for frontend 3rd party libraries

We’ve updated the used frontend libraries to their latest releases to include some minor security updates.

Workaround for Confluence bug

In newer Confluence versions, the Confluence REST API contains a problem when fetching the child pages of Confluence pages with more than 9 children. We’ve added a workaround so Slide Presenter can present page trees with more than 9 children per page again, without having to wait for Atlassian to fix the Confluence bug.
