Theme Settings: User Interface

Choose how your users will navigate through the presentation. There are three options:

  • Simple Arrows (just back & next) - the easiest way. You can switch to the next slide with the right button, and the right and down arrow keys. There are no multiple dimensions in the presentation.

  • 2D Arrows - the complex way. The presentation is divided in columns, each column is a Confluence content. With Left / Right, you can switch between contents, with Up / Down you switch through the slides of a single content.

  • Hidden - for the purists. Makes sense if you use the presentation as digital signage or know your keys well. No good idea for inexperienced users.

We recommend staying with the Simple Arrows if there’s the slightest chance inexperienced users might do a presentation - understanding the two-dimensional navigation takes some time and is confusing.

Choose where the navigation buttons are placed on the screen.

Progress Bar

Choose whether there is a progress bar on the bottom of the presentation. It indicates how many slides are still left to the end of the presentation.
