Template slides

Template Slide Example.png

Template slides can be used as the background for your intro, outro and content slides. They are a nice shortcut to reuse design elements (think of header & footer, background color designs etc.) between multiple slides, without having to copy the whole stuff.

If you ever change something in the template, it is directly changed on all slides that use this template, so it saves you from copying changes as well.

If your slides have repeating elements like a common footer, it is a very good idea to use a template slide!

How to use template slides

It’s quite simple:

  • Create a new template slide, design its background and add any slide elements.

  • Go to an intro, outro or content slide and pick the template slide in the “Template slide” attribute dropdown.

How template slides are merged with regular slides

All template elements are below the elements of the actual slide. You cannot have template elements in front of elements from the actual slide.

Same goes with the background: the background layers of the template slide are below the layers of the actual slide.
