3.4.6-cld - The March 2021 cloud release

This is the first cloud release after the rebranding to all things “addcraft”. We heavily focussed on fixing all the bugs you reported. Additionally, we added some new features and some “comfort feedback” for edge cases.

Important to know

• Minor CSS change: to fix a bug related to broken numbering in indented ordered lists, we introduced some global CSS rules that define the styling of ordered lists. We do not expect any impact on your themes. However, if you made some very special ordered list CSS adjustments in your theme, please verify that your theme is not impacted. For further informations, see the corresponding FAQ entry.

The main improvements and fixes

• Major improvement: fixed support for pages with multi column layouts

  • Additionally, presenter now displays a message on presentation start if macros that are not supported inside of multi column layouts are used in there.

• Added fix for broken numbering in ordered lists

• Background images are now repeated on overflow slides.

• Page breaks now also work when used inside of a background image macro

• 💡 Support for table background colors

• 💡 All emojis (especially the ones with doublepoints) are now supported!

• 💡 Image Handling improvements:

  • Workaround for a Confluence problem that prevented images from loading on pages with a / in the title.

  • Comfort feedback and better error handling if images still cannot be loaded

• 💡 Enhanced user interface for some edge cases:

  • If your confluence page contains broken links, you’ll get a better error message explaining what is wrong

  • Better explanation if you try to reload a presentation page with an expired security token.

What’s next?

• At the moment, we focus on preparing a quality release for the server version. When that is released, it is time for new, bold features. If you have ideas for that, tell us!
